KUALA LUMPUR, Feb (SABAH): The participants of the international webinar organized by Malaysia-based non-governmental organization (NGO) have termed the right to self-determination of Kashmiris as inevitable for durable peace in South Asia.
It has been recommended in the webinar that the Kashmiris should be given the right to self-determination according to the United Nations Organization (UNO). The steps taken for brining changes in demography of Jammu and Kashmir should immediately be stopped.
The webinar on the latest situation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir was organized by Baitul Amanah (Thijnk Tank) with cooperation of Tower Bridge organization.
The seminar was addressed by Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan, President Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organization Mohammed Azmi bin Abdul Hamid, former minister of Tunisia Dr. Ahmed Gaaloul, Deputy Chairman Justice and Development Party of Turkey Professor Dr. Yasin Akray, former foreign secretary of Pakistan and Director General Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Member British Parliament Baroness Manzila Pola Uddin, Professor Dr. Ruhayati Ali Assegal, Chairman Public Accounts Committee Azad Kashmir Abdul Rashid Turabi, Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization Mushaal Hussein Mullick and others also addressed the seminar. The participants shed light on different aspects of the Kashmir issue.
While addressing the seminar Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan urged Muslim countries to unite against the worst Islamophobia and help stop the genocide of Muslims in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
Masood Khan said demographic change in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is the prime objective of the BJP-RSS regime.
He said the main issue we should focus on is the mass settlement of Hindus from all over India into Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
The AJK President said over two million Hindus have already been given state citizenship and this level of importation of foreign nationals in a disputed territory has not been seen in modern history.
He said India is acting as an aggressor state and its one million troops deployed in the occupied Kashmir who are brutalizing Kashmiri people simply because they are Muslims.
Sardar Masood Khan while paying rich tribute to the struggle of Hurriyat leaders Muhammad Yasin Malik, Syeda Asia Andrabi, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Musarat Alam Butt, Muhammad Ashraf Sehari, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the sacrifices of these leaders will certainly bring fruits.
