Muzaffarabad: Protest procession was observed under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir against the killing of 4 unarmed civilians in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
Large number of citizens gathered at Burhan Wani Chowk in capital of AJK and burnt tyres while chanting slogans against Indian armed forces and brutal killings of civilians in IIOJ&K.
While addressing an anti-India protest, speakers said that in the lure of rewards, promotions and positions, Indian forces officers massacring Kashmiri youth in fake encounters.
They maintained that IIOJ&K has been turned into a killing shell where Indian soldiers can kill whomever they want and whenever they want.
"This situation is extremely painful for the people of this side of the state" they added.
The speakers said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is forcibly destroying the Islamic identity and culture of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali strongly condemned the killing of four unarmed Kashmiri citizens in IIOJ&K.
He expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of unarmed civilians including Altaf Ahmed, saying that it is a painful incident and massacres of Muslims by Indian armed forces in IOK is continuous.
He said, "These youngsters were neither loaded by any weapon nor involved in any violent activity but they are brutally killed in Haiderpura area of Srinagar."
While talking about the witness of the recent killing, he stated that Dr. Mudassar Gul was the only witness of this horrific incident in which three civilians were killed in Haiderpura and he was also killed by Indian forces to destroy the sole evidence and the martyrs number reached to four.
Ghazali said that people in IOK are facing worst stage of oppression, barbarism, terrorism.
Ghazali said that millions of citizens in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have become insecure in terms of honor, life and their property.
"In these circumstances, there is no other option but stand for Jihad against Indian atrocities", he added.
Speakers expressed astonishment at the criminal silence and negligence of the United Nations Security Council, International human rights organizations, Amnesty International and Asia Watch, saying that peace keeping and human rights organizations have become only silent spectators on Killing of Muslims.
The speakers called upon the government of Azad Kashmir to come up with the most effective plan against tyranny and oppression.
PPP leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Vice Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Usman Ali Hashim, political leaders Azmat Hayat Kashmiri, Javed Ahmad Mughal refugee representatives Syed Hamza Shaheen, Raja Zakheer Khan and Muhammad Aslam Inqalabi were also present on the occasion.
