Srinagar: In an audacious attack on Wednesday, Mujahideen shot dead two Occupational troopers in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and fled with two assault rifles from the spot.
Mujahideen opened indiscriminate fire upon the personnel BSF 73 battalion near old road Pandach of the district this evening, sources told Hizb Media In the broad daylight Mujahideen attack, two BSF personnel were critically injured.
They were rushed to the SKIMS hospital Soura for treatment. However, one of the BSF man was declared brought dead on arrival while another died before the doctors could start operating him.
The attack on BSF comes a day after Junaid Sehrai, Hizbul Mujahideen commander and son of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chief Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai was Martyred in a gunfight with Occupational forces in Srinagar’s Old City on Tuesday. His associate Tariq Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Pulwama was also slain in the gunfight.
