Srinagar: After initial exchange of fire between Indian occupational forces and mujahideen at Pathanpora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, mujahideen managed to give slip to the occupational forces.
Indian Officials told news agency that after acting on a lead about the presence of mujahideen in Pathanpora village of Budgam district, Indian forces cordoned off the area early morning today. “A contact with the hiding mujahideen was established. However, mujahideen lobbed back to back grenades and managed to give a slip to the forces,” they said.
An Indian police official said that mujahideen who were believed to be two in number left behind a shoe, 5 Ak47 magazines, a pistol, a grenade and a pouch.
