Srinagar- An unidentified mujahid has been martyred in the ongoing encounter that broke out in Check-i-Saloosa area of Kreeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, sources said.

Indian Occupational forces launched a cordon and search operation in Check-i-Saloosa area of Kreeri after receiving specific information about the presence of mujahideen in the area,

The search operation turned into an encounter after the mujahideen opened fire at a search party of the occupational forces.

An unidentified mujahid has been martyred so far,The operation was still in progress.
