Srinagar, January 26 : The Killing of a pilot and injuries to another in an Indian Army helicopter crash has eclipsed India’s Republic Day celebrations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident took place when an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH)–Dhruv crashed in Jammu and Kashmir, last night.
The co-pilot, who has been put on ventilator, is critical.
It is believed that the Indian helicopter was part of India’s Republic Day celebrations in occupied Kashmir.
Earlier Kathua district police chief, SSP Shailendra Kumar Mishra said, “A Dhruv helicopter of the Army crash landed near Lakhanpur. Two Army pilots have been injured in the incident. They have been evacuated to military base hospital in Pathankot.”
The incident occurred around 7.15 pm, last night.
