Srinagar, Dec 29 : An encounter broke out between mujahideen and Indian occupational forces in outskirts of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching Kashmir Views, that a gunfight broke out at Hoskar area of Umerbad outskirts of Srinagar.

The sources said occupational forces team launched a cordon and search operation in the area following inputs about the presence of mujahideen.

As searching party encircled the target house mujahideen fired upon them thus triggering a gunfight.

As per sources two mujahideen are belived to be trapped in the area.

Firing from both sides was on when last reports came in.
