Four including woman die in IIOJK mishaps

Srinagar, December 29 : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two persons including a woman died while several others were injured in different road accidents in the territory.

A woman identified as Zoona Begum Khan died and two other persons were injured when a four wheeler private vehicle fell in nullah after the driver lost control over the wheels due to slippery condition of the road near JNV Potushie in Kupwara district.

Another person identified as 35-year-old Wahid Ahmed (driver), was killed and five others identified as Mohammad Yusuf, Naseema Begum, Ayat Banoo, Towhid Ahmed and Waseem Raja were injured when a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge near Gurmal area of Kashtigarh in Doda district.

The other nine persons were injured when a Tata Sumo vehicle they were travelling, met with an accident in Mandi area of Poonch district. The condition of all the injured is said to be stable.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old Mubashir Sajad Dar from Srinagar died under mysterious circumstances in Pahalgam area of Islamabad district while a 18 month old boy Faizan Ahmad Ganaie drowned in a canal Sodhnara Hajin area of Bandipora district.
