2 Indian Occupational Army Officers Injured In LoC Mine Blast

Jammu: Two Indian occupational army officers including a major were injured in a mine blast during patrolling in a forward post along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district, officials said on Friday.

They said the explosion that took place on Thursday noon in a forward location of Nowshera sector of Rajouri resulted in injuries to Major Varun Khajuria and Subedar Ishwar Singh of 16 grenadiers.

The duo has been airlifted to Command Hospital Udhampur for treatment.
